Who uses airport transfers in Pittsburgh

How pricing works
One-way transfers are written from pickup, destination, vehicle, date, and any agreed stops. A delayed flight does not automatically convert a one-way booking into hourly charter. If you want the car held for extra stops after landing, hourly charter is estimated at $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class, and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. The matching three-hour estimates are $360, $450, $690, and $720. Waiting during that reserved hourly block is included. Quoted prices include chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees. Bags, notice, and coverage
Planning limits are sedan 3 passengers and 3 bags, SUV 6/6, S-Class 3/3, and Sprinter 12/12, subject to the assigned configuration. More than 12 passengers or 12 bags requires a coordinated quote. Book with a mobile number and as much notice as you can. Same-day coverage depends on availability.
What a PIT transfer includes
A reserved transfer is one vehicle from the pickup you name to the drop-off you name. The written quote lists the vehicle class, the flight or pickup time, any agreed stop, and the wait terms. Chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees are already inside that price, so the figure on the confirmation is the one you plan around. Tolls, parking, and airport fees are listed separately on the same quote.
Choosing the vehicle for an airport run
A solo traveler or a pair with carry-ons fits the sedan class, which plans for 3 passengers and 3 bags. Families with checked bags, golf clubs, or ski gear usually need the SUV class, which plans for 6 passengers and 6 bags. The S-Class is the executive sedan for board visits and client pickups, and a Sprinter moves a team of up to 12 from the same flight in one vehicle. Point-to-point transfers start at $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV. The written quote sets the actual fare from your addresses. If the car should stay with you after landing, hourly service is $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class, and $240 for a Sprinter, each with a three-hour minimum.
The drive from PIT into the city
Most airport runs follow I-376, the Parkway West, east toward the city. Downtown-bound cars pass through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and cross the Fort Pitt Bridge into the Golden Triangle, which is why the tunnel appears in so many timing notes. Trips to Cranberry Township usually leave the parkway for I-79 north, and South Hills trips to Mt. Lebanon often leave at Banksville Road before the tunnel. Tell dispatch the exact destination and the chauffeur plans the route.
Departures back to PIT
For outbound flights, give the airline, the departure time, and whether you are checking bags, and dispatch sets a pickup time with buffer for the parkway and the tunnel. Early departures from Downtown hotels, Oakland, and Shadyside are common. Book them as early as you can, because overnight coverage is confirmed on the reservation rather than assumed.
