Who uses sports transportation in Pittsburgh
Corporate hospitality groups, out-of-town fans from Downtown hotels, and visitors attending Pitt basketball at the Petersen Events Center. Give the hotel, suite entrance, or gate so staging can be confirmed.
Venues and seasons
Acrisure Stadium hosts Steelers and Pitt football. PNC Park hosts the Pirates. PPG Paints Arena hosts the Penguins. Highmark Stadium on the South Side hosts the Riverhounds. North Shore lots and river bridges concentrate game-day congestion. Give section, gate, or hotel notes so the meeting point is legal. Home dates and concerts need earlier notice.
How pricing works
One-way transfers are written from your itinerary. Hourly coverage is the product if you want the chauffeur to wait through the game, because waiting during the reserved block is included. Hourly charter is estimated at $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class, and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. The matching three-hour estimates are $360, $450, $690, and $720. Quoted prices include chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees. After the event
After Steelers or Penguins events, pickups are often a few blocks from the gate. Overtime games can extend an hourly block. Planning limits are sedan 3 passengers and 3 bags, SUV 6/6, S-Class 3/3, and Sprinter 12/12, subject to the assigned configuration. More than 12 passengers or 12 bags requires a coordinated quote.
Planning a game-day ride
Share the event, the start time, the party size, and where you are coming from. For North Shore venues, dispatch sets a drop-off point that avoids closed streets and a separate meeting point for the return. For PPG Paints Arena, on the edge of Downtown by the Hill District, the same approach applies. Leaving earlier than you would for an ordinary dinner keeps you ahead of the crowd at the bridges.
Which vehicle for which group
Two or three fans fit a sedan at $120 per hour on hourly service. Six fans with jackets and bags fit the SUV class at $150 per hour. Hospitality groups of up to 12 ride together in a Sprinter at $240 per hour, and the S-Class, at $230 per hour, is available for executive guests. Hourly service has a three-hour minimum, which often covers a pregame dinner and the drive; add hours if the chauffeur should wait through the event.
Bridges, lots, and the walk after the game
The Roberto Clemente, Andy Warhol, and Rachel Carson Bridges link Downtown with the North Shore, and on game days they carry heavy foot traffic, with some lanes closed to cars. Lots around Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park fill early. Expect a short walk to the confirmed meeting point after the final whistle, because the chauffeur cannot wait at the gate while police direct traffic.
Concerts and other events
The same planning applies to concerts at Stage AE and PPG Paints Arena and to Riverhounds matches at Highmark Stadium on the South Side. Give the venue and expected end time so the return can be timed. See hourly charter if you want the car held for the evening.
