How pricing works
One-way transfers are written from your itinerary. Shuttle loops are usually hourly because waiting during the reserved block is included. Hourly charter is estimated at $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class, and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. The matching three-hour estimates are $360, $450, $690, and $720. Quoted prices include chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees. Loading and capacity
Hotel loading zones are limited. The chauffeur may meet at a designated commercial point rather than the lobby doors. Planning limits are sedan 3 passengers and 3 bags, SUV 6/6, S-Class 3/3, and Sprinter 12/12, subject to the assigned configuration. More than 12 passengers or 12 bags requires a coordinated quote.
Planning around a show calendar
Convention travel runs on fixed times: badge pickup, keynote, booth hours, and teardown. Send the show schedule with hotel and flight details, and dispatch can set reservations that match those times rather than open-ended requests. Exhibitors moving samples or displays should list item sizes; a Sprinter or SUV may be needed even for a small team.
Vehicle options for convention weeks
Sedans suit individual speakers and executives at $120 per hour. SUVs carry small teams with luggage at $150 per hour. The S-Class, at $230 per hour, is available for VIP arrivals, and the Sprinter, at $240 per hour, runs group loops between hotels and the hall. Each hourly booking has a three-hour minimum. Airport arrivals are usually written as transfers, and point-to-point transfers start at $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV.
The convention center and the riverfront
The David L. Lawrence Convention Center sits on the Allegheny River side of Downtown, between the Cultural District and the Strip District, with Fort Duquesne Boulevard and Penn Avenue carrying most of the traffic toward the building. Many attendees stay within a few blocks, but evening dinners in the Strip District, on Mount Washington, or on the North Shore are where a reserved car saves the most time.
After-hours events and airport returns
Receptions and sponsor dinners often end after hotel shuttles stop running. Book return cars ahead with the venue and expected end time, and give each group lead's mobile number. For the final day, list each traveler's flight so departures to PIT can be staggered.
