A point-to-point transfer is a one-way ride between two addresses at a written price.
You give the pickup, the drop-off, the date and time, the passenger and bag counts, and the vehicle class. Dispatch writes a quote for that trip, and that quote is the fare. It includes chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees, and tolls, parking, and airport fees are listed on the same quote. What point-to-point covers
Rides between a home and PIT, between a Downtown hotel and an Oakland campus, between a Cranberry Township office and a Strip District restaurant, or from Pittsburgh to Cleveland, Morgantown, or Philadelphia. A transfer can include an agreed stop, such as collecting a colleague on the way, when that stop is written on the quote.
Starting prices
Point-to-point transfers start at $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV. Longer trips are priced from the distance and the route, and S-Class and Sprinter transfers are quoted for your itinerary. The written quote is the price for the trip as booked, so there is no meter running while you sit in traffic on the parkway.
Point-to-point or hourly?
Choose a transfer when you know where you are going and do not need the car to wait. Choose hourly charter when you have several stops, an open-ended schedule, or want the chauffeur to stay with you. Hourly service is $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class, and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum and waiting included inside the block. A delayed flight does not turn a transfer into hourly service; wait terms follow the quote.
Pickup details that make a transfer work
Name the building and the entrance, not just the street. Downtown, give the hotel porte-cochere or the tower lobby. In Oakland, give the hospital tower or campus building. In the Strip District and on the South Side, give a cross street, because curb space is tight. For homes in hilly neighborhoods such as Squirrel Hill or Mt. Lebanon, add notes about the driveway and the grade. At PIT, follow the meeting location on your confirmation.
Vehicle classes
Planning limits are sedan 3 passengers and 3 bags, SUV 6 and 6, S-Class 3 and 3, and Sprinter 12 and 12, subject to the assigned configuration. More than 12 passengers or 12 bags requires a coordinated quote. Compare the classes on the fleet page and the rates page.
