How pricing works
One-way transfers are written from your itinerary and can include an agreed wait. Multi-hospital days are usually hourly because waiting during the reserved block is included. Hourly charter is estimated at $120 per hour for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class, and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum. Access and capacity
Drivers cannot always stop at every hospital door and cannot enter restricted zones. Arrange a hospital escort if you need help with mobility. Planning limits are sedan 3 passengers and 3 bags, SUV 6/6, S-Class 3/3, and Sprinter 12/12, subject to the assigned configuration. More than 12 passengers or 12 bags requires a coordinated quote.
Planning a hospital or campus visit
Name the building, not just the institution. UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Montefiore, and Magee-Womens have separate entrances, and the Pitt and Carnegie Mellon campuses span several blocks of Forbes and Fifth Avenue. If you have an appointment time, include it and say whether the car should wait. Patient families often book an arrival transfer from PIT to a hotel, hourly service on appointment days, and a departure transfer.

A sedan, at $120 per hour on hourly service, carries up to 3 passengers and 3 bags. The SUV class, at $150 per hour, has more room for a family and luggage; any mobility aid should be mentioned so the assigned vehicle can be confirmed. Hourly bookings have a three-hour minimum, and waiting inside the block is included. One-way transfers start at $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV and are written from your addresses.
Campus visits and academic travel
Admissions visits, family weekends, commencement, and faculty interviews bring many visitors to Oakland at once. Name the admissions office, residence hall, or department building so the drop-off matches your appointment. A visitor seeing both Pitt and Carnegie Mellon, or adding Chatham University in Squirrel Hill, is usually better served by hourly service than by separate transfers.
