Several of these overlap, and a week with two or three events fills Downtown hotels and the curbs around them. Reserve cars as soon as your travel dates are fixed.
From PIT to Downtown
Pittsburgh International Airport's ground transportation page lists limousine and black car services at the Commercial Curb at Door 9. It places Uber and Lyft pickup across the road from Door 7 on the Ground Level. Those are the posted points for those services. Your reserved chauffeur meets you where your confirmation says, so send your flight number at booking and keep the chauffeur's contact details handy after landing.
We do not publish a drive time from PIT to the convention center. Traffic on the Parkway West and through the Downtown approaches changes through the day, and event arrival days are heavier. Dispatch plans the pickup time with margin when it writes your quote.
The airport also lists the 28X Airport Flyer, which runs about every 30 minutes at a $2.75 fare according to the airport page. It is a public bus and a different product from a reserved car.
Hotel loops between the hotel and the hall
Many attendees stay within a short distance of the convention center and still want a car at the start and end of the day, especially with sample cases, booth materials or formal wear. A hotel loop is a reserved vehicle that runs a set pattern between your hotel and the venue at times you choose. Because the car waits and repeats, loops are booked as hourly charter rather than as separate one-way rides. Send the show schedule, the hotel name and the times you expect to leave each end, and dispatch can plan the loop around them.
For guests who only need one trip each way, two point-to-point transfers are simpler. The right choice depends on how many times the car needs to move.
Multi-day hourly
For a conference that runs several days, hourly charter gives your group one vehicle class and a confirmed plan for each day. Estimated hourly rates are $120 for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for a Mercedes S-Class and $240 for a Sprinter, each with a three-hour minimum. The S-Class and Sprinter rates are starting rates, and the booking form confirms the final price. Point-to-point transfers start at $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV. The estimated three-hour totals are $360, $440, $690 and $710. Quoted prices include chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees, and tolls, parking and airport fees are listed on the quote.
Waiting inside a reserved hourly block is included. If a day is a single morning drop-off and an evening pickup, two transfers usually cost less than a long block with the car idle.
Loading, parking and vehicle height
The convention center states that drop-off follows the driving directions to the 10th Street entrance. Its parking garage has 700 spaces and a posted clearance of 7 feet 8 inches, with the entrance on 10th Street. That clearance matters for a high-roof Sprinter. Ask dispatch to confirm where the van will stop rather than assuming it can use the garage, and name your event so the chauffeur knows the entrance you need.
Exhibitors with freight or display crates should list the sizes. A Sprinter or an SUV may be needed even for a small team, and loading docks are controlled by the venue and the show organizer, so confirm dock access with them first.
A limitation worth knowing
Show organizers and the venue set the loading plan, and it can change from one event to the next. The meeting point on your confirmation is the best available at booking. If an organizer posts a new vehicle plan, tell dispatch so the chauffeur works from the current one.
How to book
Use the booking form or call dispatch. Send traveler names, flights, the hotel, the event and its dates, passenger and bag counts, and the pickup address for each leg. Rides are coordinated by dispatch and carried out by vetted local affiliate operators in Pittsburgh.
